Suggs Dog Park — Attraction in Collierville

I do have to say it's the only dog park I've taken my dog to. However the owners of the dogs are nice, good talkative batch of folks. Suggestions if you have questions, so if you want to chat about dogs it's a good place for humans too. Kinda bare on grass but I believe the dog park gets lots of usage. It's also shady so hard to grow grass but the town does bring in wood chips. People bring and leave gallons of water and lots of bowls for dogs to drink water. There was nothing that I read on any of the previous reviews that there was a small dog park next to the BIG dog park. Boy do the small dogs get cheated! Not even any obstacle equipment! Not even enough room to run around! I have a doxie mix, a rat terrier and chiweenie and there was not enough room to stimulate them for very long so we left for Shelby Farms. So far so good! This dog park is a nice place to let my puppy get some of her energy out. The place is generally clean. Sometimes there are some piles from someone who didn't clean up. There is plenty of space and you can see your dog from basically anywhere you stand. It has a little agility area that my pup loves.
