Visiting Fruit Acres Farms for cherry picking was a delightful experience. we also have done peach picking here before. The orchard was well-maintained. The picking process was easy and enjoyable, with plenty of cherries to choose from. The staff provided helpful tips on finding the sweetest cherries and were friendly throughout. The U Pick farm is about a mile off the expressway while the Fruit Acre farm stand is right off I94.

The owner was really responsive to our inquiry about availability. Once we got hold of a ladder it was easier to pick. No Admission this year and the cute small cardboard basket holds quite a bit of cherries.

The sour cherries ($1.49/lb)🍒 weren’t as tart as we are used to but the sweet cherries ($4.99/lb) were dark and sweet. No putting machine but a washing station.
