Such am amazing variety of vendors. I don't just work here, I shop here too! You never know what you may find. The facilities and grounds are immaculate and the management is outstanding. I left my phone in the bathroom and by the time I realized it, and went back, it was gone. It was gone, because someone had turned it into the lost and found! Management drove me on the golf cart to pick it up and I had it back in less than 10 minutes of realizing it was gone. Good people out here. They have a cart that drives around selling snacks, sodas, water, and BEER! They also have a cantina serving margaritas and other alcoholic beverages along with tacos and breakfast in the morning if your an early riser. As far as being a vendor goes, it's one if my favorite places I've worked, and we travel the country doing shows, markets and festivals all year. Covid brought us here and they were more than willing to work with us from being out of state. We had been keeping to ourselves in the mountains, since we basically lost our jobs and no where seemed safe as an individual with heart problems during the pandemic. Market management assured us they do everything they can to remain safe and open. Everyone that enters is required to wear a face mask. The vendors are spaced far apart. The bathrooms are kept clean. They are committed to safety here and that seemed most important to me no matter how much I want to work. It definitely helps that Heather is super easy to work with and above all, wants you to love the market whether your a vendor,s shopper, or both...
Read moreThe Flea Market is pretty awesome! Lots of nice people, most are very friendly and honest . Great place to find hidden treasures from sports jerseys, to antiuqes, to video games. The only issue I've had is shopping at the game store in the indoor portion. The man who runs the shop says he tests all his video games before selling them, I can tell you from two separate accounts; that's a lie. I bought a copy of Clay fighter for Super Nintendo and a copy of Zelda for the NES and both had serious issues. The clay fighter for Super Nintendo had serious water damage that I didn't notice until I took it to a game shop in town and they showed me (luckily they were able to fix it). Unfortunately for the copy of Zelda I bought from him, which was the gold cartridge, doesn't work at all. The game shop I go to changed the battery, buffed the needles and tried it out on multiple copies of the NES systems and it only worked once on a off brand system. I tried to take it back and get my $35 or something else, and he refused to make any deal on taking it back. Basically a "Tough luck, that sucks" attitude. DO NOT buy games from this dealer, he's a...
Read moreOk place to check and browse. Seems quite big. Some of the vendors have storage rooms that they open to sell and some are like kiosks and others are in a long building. There is a place where they sell food, etc. If you are interested to go, check the weather. I recommend to go in a warm, sunny weekend (I believe they only open weekends). In cold or rainy days they probably close early if some are open. I think that they charge a fee ($2.00?) at the gate (in reality it is a big parking lot it seems. When we went it was cold and kind of late and the admission was free. They have all kind of stuff (new and most of them used). Some interesting things. It is a good, family experience just to walk around and see what they have. They have some permanent play sets for kids. And it is fun to buy something just to remember. Not sure how widely accepted is price negotiation, but I negotiated a price in some stuff we bought and it was not bad. This place is pack on warm sonny weekends and it is easy to spot and drive in. Good luck...
