Really needs a new maintenance staff. They use the elevation as an excuse. The members don't know that there are a ton of courses in the mountains that are maintained better than the courses in Denver. No pro shop and the worst warm up range in America. Is the Madrowski Klan still talking trash about their little boy hitting it 265 and disgracing the US open qualifier? Is Alex still around talking trash about me after giving the kid a free playing lesson. "Kyle shot 72 here." Kyle has never shot 72, he is barely capable of breaking 80 if he careers it. I would love to watch him try with money on the line. I would love to see little Kyle try to shoot those scores for real, with witnesses, NO CHAPSTICK. You disgrace the USGA Madrowskis and want to talk trash. This is what golf does to you. Very fine, professional, and "elite" Membershyit. How many minority members do you have? What do your members think about blacks at the course? But none of you actually call them blacks do you? Is PAtterson still trying to sell specialized performance super duper elite junior camps at the GolfSmith where other PGA members teach. Very, very, professional, classy, that is why he won this PGA awards so he can tell us all what professional is. Is the professional still using his Trackman with range balls at an uphill range? Are you smart enough to understand why that looks so opposite of smart. Here I'll help, Madrowski will average mid 80s. Stack and Tilt was wrong on everything. Best advice anyone...
Read moreOne of the finest and most difficult courses in the State of Colorado. Headed by Kyle Heyen, a professional with 40 years experience, countless awards, and many years spent working with the PGA on their managing board and other projects. The greens are some of the most professional level greens I’ve ever played on and it is a treat to see a ball roll so true but with dangerous speed. The slope from the men’s tee (blue) is 140 and most of that resides in 3-putts. The drives and approach shots are difficult, don’t get me wrong, but if you manage the course well then you’ll find yourself at very reasonable distances. The course is private so you will need a member or reciprocal club to get on, but it is definitely worth it. Will play this course as long as I have the chance and find it to be a great challenge to hone in on specific skills you might be working on. In fairness, high handicaps will find it more enjoyable to not play for score, but you won’t be ball searching too often if you take safe, smart shots that don’t require a violent swing! Can’t wait till my next round but sad the season is close to...
Read moreThe absolute worst greens I've seen in my life. For a private course that everyone calls a "must play" in Colorado I was expecting a premium "lightning fast" putting experience as I was told I'd have. Not even close. Tee to Green is fine, but once you're on the greens it's embarrassing, honestly. Staff is great and friendly. If you want to play go for it, good chance of seeing some Elk too, which is cool, but do not expect a lot from the course itself. I still cannot not believe the condition of the greens. Wow. Should have took pictures. Wouldn't go back if I...
