I just shopped for the first time here last week. I live in Hattiesburg but I found it was well worth the drive. I will be back. The meat is fresh, produce is great and the selection of groceries are great. I found the employees quite friendly. I saw a couple negative reviews and I wanted to check it out for myself. I found the cashiers really nice and they waited on me pretty quickly. There was a lady behind the counter who was really friendly and the lady at the first register was really helpful, even offer me help when I got their Niagara water which wad only $1.99, wow. I fund the prices very good even with their 10% markup. I have worked in groceries stores before and that is not much of a markup. I find their prices great an their staff really helpful. Thanks to the lady that help me with my groceries to my car. Here I am writing a book. I am bad that way but I will end and saying, you can't go wrong with this little store. Two of my Facebook friends work there. I don't know them well but Vicky and Kim keep up the good work and the ladies at the first register last Thursday and the lady that sold me my money...

The associates were friendly and helpful. However, I purchased a beef brisket and the butcher cut it for me into 3 portions. When I arrived home I opened one of the portions to prepare for cooking. I noticed a very dark brown edge on one side. I smelled it and it was awful. I called and they told me to return it to the store. I did and was going to purchase another. I looked at two more and they also had the darker side. Is this normal on the brisket? It has been a long time since I have purchased a whole one. It was $3.62 per pound. Awful food experience in the deli. I will not be returning. The employee was rude an tried to tell me there ribs weren't burnt wen they were. Told me to bring my ribs back in the morning for the manger to look at. I mean really??? There not even trying to give me a refund. I spent $13 on these ribs. Horrible horrible horrible. The manger was not even there. Explains why the food was gross an the employee was rude. Advice to anyone who wants to shop here.
