Second Street Bean — Restaurant in Columbia

Fresh ingredients, comfortable and eclectic atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the chicken salad croissant. It's my go-to at the Bean. I also enjoyed an iced coffee flavored with cinnamon and white chocolate. Yummy! Also they have an extensive selection of flavored syrups for sale, along with little coffee-oriented gift items and snacks. There are books available if you would like to relax and read while you enjoy a beverage or food. And a kid's corner with books and toys. Really makes it fun to eat local!!

Super cute spot! Good mix of regular table-and-chairs seating and the cozy couches and armchairs that you'd hope for in a coffee shop. It was steadily busy through the late morning and afternoon while I was there, but never so crowded that folks couldn't find a seat. The tables are well-spaced and the baristas wore masks, so it's social distancing friendly. I had a sausage breakfast sandwich and the Cinnamon Roll latté - both were excellent, and I can't wait to try out more of their menu. They have a fast wifi connection and a punch card for your 10th coffee free, so they really have everything you could ask for! This will definitely be a regular...

I live in Columbia Mississippi and have tried each and every restaurant they have and this one has always been my favorite, so much culture and art, sophisticated and laid back, reccomend if you want a great coffee or sweet treat or gyro, also they have salads and acai bowls. Has smoking area outside and you can vape inside. Clean bathrooms and in the middle of downtown so you can walk to one of Columbia's beautiful historic shops, every purchase downtown...
