HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! We called “The Sarge” after frustrations with our previous lawn service who caused ruts in our yard due to constantly cutting the grass when it was wet, always in the same direction and making our grass uneven due to using dull blades.

When we first called “The Sarge”, even though it was raining heavily, he promptly came out to inspect our yard. He explained this provides him the opportunity to easily see drainage and leveling issues in the yard to best service our property!!! He quickly pointed out issues in our yard which were the exact areas exacerbated by our previous service and how he planned to address them. He further explained he never cuts the grass when it’s wet/damp just because it’s scheduled; sharpens his mower blades weekly; and stated he is not the fastest service in town because he likes to take his time. We discussed soil temperatures, watering, pre- and post emergents, soil amendments, fungicide, fertilizer etc!! That sealed the deal for us - a true professional that knows his craft!!

After our first service from “The Sarge” the difference in our yard was immediate!! Our yard has never looked better and our drainage issues have started to clear up. My experience with The Sarge Lawn and Landsculpting Services has been nothing but positive from my initial contact. The Sarge was one of three lawn maintenance providers I reached out to in the Spring for my new single family home's lawn care needs, and he was the only one to offer an in person estimate. He arrived promptly for our appointment, and as we walked my quarter acre property he knowledgeably addressed each of my areas of concern. I was impressed by his honesty, personability, and overall knowledge of lawn care!

I contracted with The Sarge for his Tier 1 Turf Care Program and Lawn Maintenance Program. My lawn needed a serious overhaul to be ready for my kids to play in barefoot over the summer, and The Sarge did not disappoint! From April through September, as part of the Turf Care Program, he provided fertilization and weed treatments and aeration and seeding. He conducted weekly lawn mowings and edge trimmings as part of the Lawn Maintenance Program. He always arrived promptly on my day of service, efficiently performed the lawn services, answered my questions, and offered general information about how to maintain the lawn and flowerbeds. I called The Sarge after months of trying to get a handle on our large lawn areas. Our brand new lawnmower wasn't able to help us keep up in an efficient manner. Thank God for the personal recommendation I received to call The Sarge. The Sarge promptly responded to my email request with a phone call. He listened to my concerns and answered all of questions in that initial call. He also had his own set of criteria and questions that he needed to get through with potential clients in order to see if the match would be a "win-win" for everyone. After we both achieved a level of comfort with the terms, a contract was signed. Six month later, my husband and I are extremely pleased with how our lawn has been cared for. We plan to renew our lawn maintenance contract annually and get his assistance with weed control.
