This Visitor Center is perfectly located headed into the Outer Banks from the south. Very clean and nicely landscaped. Numerous shaded areas with chairs overlooking the water. The center houses a large amount of local high quality craft items, maps, art work and a wide array of brochures covering site seeing, fishing, water sports, restaurants and shopping. The two lady attendants were very friendly and helpful and great ambassadors. Restrooms were very clean. I've stopped here numerous time. They always have clean and nice bathrooms. The soda and snacks machines are iffy. They work something and then they don't. The staff is friendly. The visitor center is amazing even though it's small. It's full of good information and the lady that is there is very nice and knowledgeable of the area. They also have a little museum to the left.
