By far the WORST Experience ive ever had dealing with this place... i dealt with FARMERS once before, the first time i dealt with them i had a problem with them calling and harrassing me about payments that i already paid (ON TIME)... But i gave them the benefit of the doubt and I choose to shop with them a second time, my Worst mistake thus far.... In mid March i went inside the store to purchase a living room set and a king bed set totaling almost $7000, I PAID $4500 CASH on my funiture so as you would expect, i want to be treated RIGHT because i feel as though im a good customer.. i was helped by a SALESWOMAN by the name of KAREN.. (shes Very unprofessional and lacked proper communication with me through this whole ongoing ordeal).....my funiture was scheduled to be delivered on April 15th, nearly a month after my order due to some things that was on BACK-ORDER.. on the day of delivery is when i thought i was in Hell.. when my funiture did arrive, all of my things didn't arrive, ( nightstand & lamp) and my loveseat was damaged my mattress was dirty nd the plastic wasn't all the way wrapped on it like the movers slid the mattress across the floor instead of picking it up.. on top of that, i ordered a king bedroom set but when they begin to setup the bed in my bedroom i noticed it was a queen bed. Therefore they had to take the bed back leaving me without one... I called KAREN several times trying to figure out the solution but she couldn't come up with one other than to order another bed and couldn't give me a timeframe on when the bed and nightstand would arrive, so im currently waiting on my bed still today and i haven't gotten my replacement loveseat either as of today... ive been trying to call the store to speak with Karen but it seems like she is avoiding my call because they will put me on hold for long periods of time and she never comes to the phone to communicate with me or inform me. It was like the other associates was covering up for Karen so I asked to speak with management and they told me management wouldn't be available until the following week. I still haven't gotten any info or nothing. This place is a rip off, This has been a terrible experience and i will never do any business with FARMERS For as long as i live... sad thing is, my first payment is coming up before i even get a chance to enjoy my funiture... currently im sleeping on a bare mattress in my bedroom while i wait till only GOD knows when to get my funiture... below are a picture of the couch they delivered to...
Read more1 purchased a dining room on 3 April price was $489.30 $ Delivery subtotal $632.67 sales tax $52.67 total $685.52 call on 5 April to cancel delivery fee spoke with Bridget in regards of cancellation she said ok. Delivery was originally 15th on this date I received a call from an employee named Ephesian stating he was on his way to deliver the set I told him it has been cancelled he spoke with the store manager who instructed him to deliver I would not be charged delivery fee. Bought it into my house one chair was stained and the table legs were damaged. I called the store and asked for someone to call them while they were en route to come and pick it up Donna said she couldn't do that she had to get manager approval I asked to speak with the manager the next day and was told he was in a meeting call back a hour later he was still in meeting asked him to call me didn't received call was told he didn't call you NO! she said he had left for the day at 5:pm call the next day on the 16th spoke with Preston and told him what was going on and I was not satisfied with the purchase request a pickup I have spoken to several employees with no results in matter tried to rectify the matter with calling to speak with store's manager he said warehouse's men couldn't come that day because they were off and he would speak to manager. 17th he call and said to keep the set assembly the table there would be a new replacement in boxes and they would come out to assemble on 24th was unable to assemble because no instructions there were three bags of screws I wasn't going to attempt to figure it out ask for pick up immediately he stated he would have to speak to store's manager. If there is no pickup on the 18th further legal actions will be taken...
Read moreI would like to say that I came close to writing farmers furniture off. I bought a living room set from them middle of May 2019 and had trouble out of the couch they replaced it still had some issues they replaced it with a love seat per my request and then my recliner broke I kept having to put the spring back on myself again and again. I called the store never could get anyone to help me always got the runaround or the part has not come in or something for an excuse each time. I called back about two weeks later to find out the part was there the entire time. They said they would call me to set up a time for a service technician to come. Nobody ever called. That’s when a sales associate said I needed to speak with there new store manager Mr. Tori Jones. I was close to calling corporate to complain. I want to say that after speaking with Mr. Torre Jones I have a complete new respect for Farmers Furniture he has completely turned the store around to wear now they are my favorite. He told me that he would swap my recliner out told me the date that it would be there. It came in when he said it would they set it up and it works perfect no more complaints. Thank you again Mr. Tory Jones. This is a very kind and friendly manager that will meet the customers needs. When he says he will do something he will do it.
