Macon Road Barbeque — Restaurant in Columbus

The food was great as always. The gentleman at the register was very nice,and professional. The reason I gave a one star rating was due to the waitress. She was high as a kite. She did not even know she was on planet earth. Her head was bobbing like a bobble head,her neck looked like she was in the Exorcist,and she was talking to herself. She could not understand my request for ketchup,and I had to politely ask three times. When my order was ready she pointed at it as if I was a dog who needed to fetch. When I received my order it was not complete,and I had to go back for the rest. I am a live,and let live girl, but do not show up to work like that. Confessions from a BBQ junkie. I love BBQ and consider it a character flaw for not visiting Macon Road Barbecue before now. I had heard many positive reports but had never taken the time visit until today. I will return again and again. My wife and I ordered the rib platter and I opted for the large version. It satisfied my ample appetite, especially for BBQ. The ribs were tender, meaty and cooked perfectly. I loved the coleslaw and my wife enjoyed the potato salad. I ordered a side of fries which were hand cut and tasty. The portions sizable. I highly recommend this restaurant. Very tacky. Worse every time I go in there was great back in the 90s . Now its different everytime I go in there two times in th e last 13 years I swear it's the last time .. Because me knowing that it was first they gonna tell me no beef bbq. Well they did in the 90s I don't eat pork. Today went in hungry was giving it the 2nd chance.
