Nelson Park — Local services in Columbus

Giving 4 stars only because of the amount of tables and picnic areas available. If you have a large family and you're try to celebrate this place probably isn't for you.!! You have to get there early as possible to reserve and set up. This park fills fast and what little areas are available are gone to quick. Aside from that it's a nice wholesome park and nature trails are available. So nice and relaxing, perfect spot for trying to be with family, but not having to worry about Covid and other Guests being to close. I have been going to this watering hole all my life! Very nice park pond fresh water fishing. The water is not beautiful. The park sits on alum Creek. In my pictures the water is up so it looks really murky. There is an area in the park to BBQ and bbq grills. There are basketball courts and it sits on the bike trail really nice park! Dog friendly! THE ACTUAL HOUSING not PARK but THE APARTMENTS are Ghetto with drugs houses and crack head gun violence the people are rude and men stay with women to run drugs in there apartment car break-ins very loud do not ever live here for the safety of your kids and yourself bullets will fly in your house the apartments are very bad inside omg mold water leaks and the smell of drug it's dirty some many people has died...
