Reserved the Wolf Park Shelter House and it was a really nice experience. The property was set up prior to my event and they're willing to accommodate your wishes. They have someone on site for any questions and the building was even available a little earlier than my reservation which was very helpful for decorating. I would only suggest providing a coat rack for guests and paper towels in the kitchen. But overall, very much worth it.

A great place to get your steps in and there is always someone else on the track or playing with their dogs. This place is truly a blessing! ****Update 8/23/22**** The park is still beautiful! They've added wooden posts around the perimeter of the large grassy area to keep out vehicles. Good idea! It's still one of my favorite places.

Great place to take the dog, if he/she behaves well off leash. If your dog is temperamental, use the leash and be careful of the many dogs off leash. Great spot for a game of tennis, as the courts aren't usually all taken. Go to this park and check it out. One of many great parks in Columbus.

Nice park located between the Alum Creek river and the city of Bexley. The park has bike/walking path that connects with other paths at both ends. The path goes north under the Broad St bridge next to the river and connects to Nelson park. In the park your find a pedestrian bike bridge across the river to Nelson Rd and Academy park. Wolf park has several nice tennis courts where some seniors also play pickleball as well. Toward the south end of the park your find a ball diamond. One of the most common activities your see is people walking their dogs. On the north side of the park is a community enclosed center that has nice restrooms. The community center is used for many different types of meetings. It is also used as a location for many 5k runs and walks for various organizations /charities. The park is.well maintained by Columbus...

On the upside. Lots of space to let your dog run. There are other dogs that love to run and play with. For the most part people clean up after their dogs and some will clean up what some miss. There is a trail along the creek that you can walk your dog in. Their is a small jungle gym for kids tennis courts and 2 diamonds. The city holds lacrosse in the spring but there is plenty of park to share.

Downside is there is always that 1 person that doesn't clean up after their dog. Everyone seems to know all about your dog and what you need to do to train them. Some will not let their dog off the leash near you when your training your dog on leash. Their is a few people who won't leave their dog alone and let them just play and have fun. If you want your dog to run. Then run with your dog. Otherwise, let your dog wrestle around and have...
