I checked in using the QR code and got a number via text. It said to wait in the lobby and wait for our number to be called. I walked in with my brother and waited in the lobby.
A lady at the check in station rudely called us over and said, “YOU need to check in here. It says it right here.” I told her that we got a number through the code we scanned outside for the waitlist. She said, “it doesn’t matter, you need to check in right here. There is a sign.” She was rude and super unprofessional.
The sign just says Check In, but we were able to check in using the QR code and able to receive the waitlist number. So she gave us a new code and said the code we have does not matter. I thought okay, well sure. She directed us to the line we needed. We walked up and the lady at that line was also rude. She said with an attitude, “You need to wait for your number.” I told her that we have a code and a number the other lady gave us. She said, “You need to wait for your number to be called.” In an abrupt way.
She then called out the number that was on my phone (R953). My brother had (R955) on paper. We began to walk up there and she said again, “YOU NEED TO WAIT FOR YOUR NUMBER!!” I told her that number is on my phone and she said, “he has (55) and I said, “okay mam, I have 53 on my phone. So can we not check in using the QR code because it looks like you called my number. She then said it was a mistake on the other lady’s part and it wasn’t our fault.
By far the worst experience. Two older ladies that should be better with customer service. I would not hire them for the life of me. We didn’t go in there to be rude or ruins someone’s day, so to get that kind of treatment from the employees was terrible not only for the customers, but the business...
Read moreI have never been treated so rudely in my life! I waited FOREVER in the line to get my registration for a new car. Bobbie, called me to her window. I handed her my paperwork and told her I needed to get registration for a car that previously had 30 day tags. I was told before going in that my total would be $54.50, imagine my surprise when she told me it would be over $80.00. I politely asked her why and she stated that I was being charged a fee due to my birthday happening while I had the tags. I proceeded to ask her about it, she would not explain any further and told me there was an ATM to pull money from. I told her I had spoke to someone about my fees being $54.50 and that I had only brought that amount with me... she slammed my paperwork back at me and told me, "Come back a different day and get it figured out." It was embarrassing because she basically yelled it. I can not stress how polite I was to her the entire time, this lady talked down to me as if I was a criminal for coming to the BMV. I left that office, went to the Pickerington office and paid $54.50 for my tags, as originally told. This office needs to get it together with their customer service. I was given false information and charged almost $30 more, than what I should've been charged. There seems to be no accountability there. I would avoid this office...
Read moreIf you need anything for a CDL, do not come here! I was sent there by my work to get a permit for my manual restriction. so I went and they told me I needed to take a test for the permit, and I tried telling the lady that I already have my cdl I just need a permit to learn manual. and they insisted I needed to take a test, so then they had to get the supervisor to tell them it was just something I bought there. Now fast forward to today and now I need a bmv to go to get the restriction off of my license. I thought that since it was close I would give them another shot and soon as I walked in the door and checked in with the lady she told me the same thing before that I had to go to the testing center to do that. I tried telling her I ALREADY have my cdl and she got a little upset because I tried to explain it and when I got to the counter I was told the same thing. I went over to the bmv in grove city and just like that no problem. DONT go here for...
