Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Columbus

This was one of the most disgusting visits I have had to a store in a long time. The prices in this store are shameful. They are robbing their customers and I cannot believe ehat I saw. I could not believe my checkout ticket I almost returned everything and walked out 18 items 108.19. Some items did not ring what was priced but some items I saw priced and chose something else. I bought a 42 variety pack of chips they had no price...well come to find out they were 19.99 and I bought two. Chicken breast was 5.19 per lbs, I didn't buy it but I did buy chicken tenders at 3.99 per lbs. I bought other trivial things but they were small items, the buggy worth was about 50.00 maybe and it totaled 108.19. I will never step foot in this store again. I will ho to food depo and pay 10% extra first if I have to stop somewhere on my way home but I will never be ripped off like this again. Its ashame for people whom have to shop in this area, I hate it for them because its wrong. I speak this way because I just grocery shopped at other grocery stores yesterday, which were nowhere near this high to include Sams...so why has this store doubled and...

I shopped at this store on 9/26/19 the customer service I received by the cashier/ Manager was poor. I work for a company that I grocery shop for on a regular basis at this location & my company receives tax exemptions from different stores in the area. I have used tax exemptions at this location before.... but this particular time the cashier stated that my company doesn't get it at this store. I told her I've received it there before & she ask who did it for me & I stated a manager & other cashier's. She continued to be rude ....I told her ok & didn't argue with her. I paid for the groceries & went to my car. This same lady the cashier / Manager followed me to my car with a note book to show me that my company doesn't receive cash exempt at this store. I told her again that I was done with the matter. She went back in the store & I was left feeling harrassed & embarrassed. If I were an aggressive person this lady could have gotten cursed out or even hurt. Thank God for her sake I'm not that kind of person. You do not follow people out the store to argue about stuff like this. 🙄 I will not shop at this...

I WAS SHOPPING AT THE PIGGLY WIGGLY 2424 WOODRUFF FARM RD COLUMBUS, GEORGIA TODAY 15 DEC AT APPROXIMATELY 1330 HOURS. THE MAIN REASON I WENT THERE WAS TO GET SOME PRECOOKED FOOD FROM THE DELI. AS I APPROCHED THE DELI A WHITE COUPLE GOT THERE BEFORE ME. I DECIDED TO WALK DOWN THE NEAREST AISLE AND GET SOMETHING I WANTED. I HEARD THE PERSON ASK THE COUPLE COULD SHE HELP THEM AS SOON AS THEY GOT TO THE COUNTER. I TURNED BACK AND THEY WERE GONE SO I APPROCHED THE COUNTER TO ORDER. THERE WAS A BLACK WOMAN AND A WHITE WOMAN THERE. THE WHITE WOMAN LEFT AND WENT OUT INTO THE STORE. I STOOD THERE BETWEEN 5 AND THREE MINUTES AND THE BLACK WOMAN IGNORED ME. THE WHITE WOMAN RETURNED AND ALSO IGNORED ME. I DONT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. I AM AN OLD 73 YEAR OLD DARK SKIN BLACK MAN AND COULD NOT HELP WONDERING IF THAT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM IGNORING ME. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY I WAS IGNORED. AFTER 5 MINUTES OR SO I DECIDED TO CHECK OUT AND GO HOME AND COOK SOMETHING. I GO TO THIS PIGGLY WIGGLY QUITE A LOT BUT I AM THINKING ABOUT NOT...
