WARNING We went in to use the rr and buy a water, initially it was a very quiet and calm experience. Once I approached the counter I turned my water so he (the employee, an older man with a foreign accent, dark hair, dark complexion, short in height) could scan it. I've gotten used to doing this since covid and have never had an issue, until now. The man gave me such a dirty look like he was so offended he couldn't touch my water then proceeded to hit the mobile scanner hinting for me to scan it myself, knowing the plastic screen would not allow me to reach that far. I then pulled out $2 and asked if he was going to scan it so I could pay. Well he finally scanned it, but the problems don't start there. Then he started causing a scene about giving me my change!...? Asking me if I wanted my change I said yes. He said you want change??! Then I was confused thought maybe it came out to more than $2 so asked how much was the total and he told me $1.61 so I said yes I want my change. Then he continued saying "I can't touch your water but you want your change!?" (No I don't want you to put your hands where we are drinking from, giving me my change is completely different, why do you want to touch my water so badly anyway??) I had my two girls with me and there were customers behind me, he was so belligerent and unprofessional. I had to ask him with my hand out waiting to give me my change like 5x. I can not believe his behavior and honesty this store should be so embarrassed by the employee...

I stopped here at snappy's market alleyton on my way from Houston to San Antonio. It was almost perfectly halfway there I needed to stretch my legs and use the bathroom. I have visited this place several times in the past, and it used to be a nice and pleasant pit stop. Now, they have Hail Mary on repeat playing on speakers both inside and outside the shop.
