This beauty supply store is located in the little strip mall on the corner of Greenleaf and Wilmington in Compton, CA. It is small inside, however they have a good variety of products pack into this store. Even though It is small it is not cluttered. The employee is always helpful. The prices are quite reasonable. The only draw back is the parking. However, I don't feel this should stop anyone from shopping there. Compare to prices I see in other beauty shops this is by far the best one. I say this because this beauty shop has been in this community for a very long time and always provide good service, helps you whenever needed with a smile, don't follow you and stare you down, and make suggestions and recommendations when ask about a particular product based on your individual situation. For example, for years I have bern washing my hair using various shampoos and conditioners. After talking with the gentleman employee he recommended Cantu shampoo and conditioner for my hair type. She keeps her clients happy. She and her daughter know what they are doing. I was referred to the owner to do twist locks. My hair is growing as a 57-year-old black man. I saw her juggle 3 to four clients at a time. They did not mind. I do because my time is valuable, I pay good money. I think because I am a man, my patience is not long. She does great work on all different nationalities in the High Desert. Women thank her and tip her because they hair is growing. Her daughter specializes in braiding, and she is fast. She's the owner, and she is very knowledgeable about all her products she sells in the beauty store. She is friendly and shows genuine interest in her clients. The vibe is good. First time visiting, needed to pick up some hair for my daughter to get her hair braided. The gentleman working was absolutely wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable, willing to help us with the perfect colors to match her hair and even what we needed to blend her colors. He made sure we had what we needed. He went above and beyond, GREAT customer service. Their prices were amazing. When we called they didn't give them over the phone, we understood when we got there. They have the best price around by far. We happen to be in the area today, but between the great customer service, the wide variety of choices and their prices, this place is worth a drive any day.
