Conconully General Store — Local services in Conconully

Maybe I caught the store on the wrong day.

There was an older gentleman working at the store, I walked in and said hi, no answer. No biggy. I walked down the snack isle and he shut off the lights.

I found a couple items I was looking for in the dark and walked up to the front and my father in law joined me and tried to make some conversation, the gentleman was terse and short.

The prices were not on the items and when checking out double what they usually are at gas stations (normally already higher priced).

I understand if a business is closing, it was 4:55, I was unaware of the business hours just saw an open sign. Even a smidge of customer service would have been to say, “hey we close in 5 minutes an FYI, I’m going to turn off the lights and open sign”.

Whoever owns the business I’m leaving this review because the other reviews say a woman was really nice and they had a great experience and hopefully she can give this person...

This place is AWESOME 👌👏🏼. The people working there are awesome and it's such a good vibe also they have great fishing supplies such as, bait, hooks, line, and sinkers. Furthermore the ice cream is da bombbbb. They have a good supply of differnt food and drinks! They even have meat there and it's fresh! Also have great knowledge on the area. We have been coming to Conconully for years and love the little store. Unfortunately this year was a huge disappointment. There was hardly anything but antiques and no fuel available.
