Update We lots everything and still can’t afford to live They said I didn’t turn it paperwork that I not only turned in and then had a phone conversation about with them and then said we make too much money when we don’t even make nearly enough - they ask for the most recent pay stubs and then they refuse to look at your case for a month and accuse you of not sending you most recent when it’s their fault for waiting 30 days to look at them as if we didn’t get paid in a whole month- why should have to send paperwork because they can’t read the stuff fast enough. I sent proof of pregnancy and did a phone screening and they said I failed to submit proof of pregnancy and canceled my coverage which is impossible because they have my MDs number and have been paying the d* bills for prenatal care

Update: We were due for a recertification again (seems like we do recerts. more than we get benefits)and they denied a paper and cancels my food stamps because it was blurry, I pulled up that same paper and it was not blurry at all. This is the most tedious recertification process I have ever been through. We received benefits in MA when we lived there and it was the easiest process ever, no documents needed other than pay stubs and if anything changes like income that's it.Also it was yearly not every six months there. DHS up here wants phone bills, leases, bank statements. This is not a user friendly state at all! Also NH restricts way more items for purchase than in MA.

Called and agents Parrot was squeaking and dog was barking and smashing her desk she kept making up reasons why u was denied and then changing her story. Told her I was looking on NH easy and she has all this stuff- first claimed I didn’t fill a from correctly then said I forgot a form and the other form was fine and refused to transfer me to a supervisor as it’s “policy” then hung up on me. Would be nice if she wouldn’t make stuff up. Denied my SNAP for improper documentation even though I provided what they ask, go to call and no one answers and if they do you get disconnected repeatedly having to start all over. I have a child and need faster service, I cannot neglect her care to listen to some blaring hold music that makes my child scream it’s so loud for two hours. I asked snap to call me with any issues instead of sending petty emails and snail mail but for them it was easier to deny then to give me a call or even approve the documents they asked for. DTA also sends things via snail mail and wants ut sent back immediately. Try explaining to them the paper you just got Friday can in no way get sent back via...

(After all this my disabled is only eligible for $15 in food stamps because he is homeless and has no living expenses and is expected to use his disability check for food so now he cant ever afford to rent a place while section 8 is supposedly still on applications from 2009 and suppose to provide housing! He's not even allowed to stay in senior living with me. What a disgrace this country has become. Its no wonder veterans are most likely to die from suicide after to coming home to civilians like this. What a disgrace this country has become.)

My son applied online and was immediately called by someone who told him it would take him 90 days to get help after he was just released from a facility and is homeless. Social Security Disability will not deposit his benefits for 2 months per policy and Section 8 is still on applications from 2009! His ebt card hasn't come in 2 weeks so he has been without any benefits since May 8! I just called your customer service number and was on hold for a half hour before I was given the option to enter a call back number. Half hour of listening to a recording that referred to my son as a "Case Head", might as well say head case, and repeatedly say you're stacked with knowledgeable staff when no one can answer the phone for a half hour! You people are a disgrace to the real Americans who gave their life for this country. No thank you for your service and still no call back...

I applied for the emergency rental asistance . This is the fourth time being denied for no god damn reason. Every single time its a different reason. Wheather its proof of eviction or all of a sudden you need to have children out of the blue. Why does someone need these things in order to receive emergency help. Why does this establishiment exist but they dont help people? Is it just to tell Washington DC oh help people over here in NH. Thats why NH has alot of homeless people If the homeless are on the sidewalk , woods or even in their car its an issue. Yet it wouldnt be an issue if you helped people that need it. NO programs in this state help you. They are all full of excuses and pure lies. Where is this money going to ? Its not going to the people who need help thats for sure. YOu can give them all the information they need down to your blood type and you will just get your time wasted. THEY HELP NO ONE. I can see why there are so many homeless people here. They act like needing help is a crime and I will never look to them...
