This is too bad.
This place has beautiful display and lovely gardens.
Bought 4 trees, 2 pink planter, 3 other planters but they only had one. Doug said no problem! We will make two more for you. The young gal rang us up for 3 of them and all is well.
We came back with a trailer to pick up trees a couple days later, however the two out of stock pots were not ready.
Get a call that they are ready. My husband goes to pick up and they tell him he hasn’t paid for them despite the conversation with Doug and the younger cashier that we paid for all three. He gives them his cc because he thinks- okay!! Whatever.
I realize the charge on my cc statement and call. First, it’s my fault they say. Then I calmly explain and she says she will talk to bookkeeper and review both dates and dollar values and will call me back. They don’t.
I call back a week later, the gal who rung us up originally answers the phone and recalls us and says, yes.. my story is exactly what she did as instructed by Doug.
Jan gets on the phone and proceeds to tell me it’s my fault and that there is nothing she can do. I am impatient with her customer service levels and ask for Doug to give me a call. She doesn’t like my response. I stand my ground and say that I need to speak with Doug.
So, there we are. 2 weeks of wrestling to get an overpayment back!
Simply add 4 trees, two pink pots, and 3 lip sync planters and you get the value! This isn’t hard, but man, this isn’t the friendly customer service.
Note to buyers- keep your receipts because per this lady, they don’t have an inventory based data base.
Never again Cole Gardens. Plants are fun and this wasn’t… time to use a different, more customer service...
Read moreCharlie Cole, owner of Cole Gardens, essentially stole over $200 from me with an erroneous credit card charge and has refused to return it even though I have attempted to contact him many times and through many different channels over the past two years. Jane Iarussi, Vice President of Cole Gardens, has been complicit in this as well. Both of them have ghosted me once I have proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the charge was erroneous, and have since refused to return any of my calls or emails (as well as those from my credit card company).
Please do not give these people your business, they will charge your credit card hundreds of dollars for things you didn’t buy, say they will “look into it” and kick the can down the road when you bring it to their attention, and then conveniently ghost you when you ask them to return it to you.
I am simply stating the facts of what happened to me. I have all the emails to prove it. The erroneous charge may have been an accident, but accidents need to be fixed once they are brought to your attention. Once you ignore fixing the problem, it has become intentional.
I never write reviews let alone negative ones, but this behavior was so egregious and personally insulting to me that I feel it is my duty to at least warn others so that you do not have to go through what I have had to over the past few years. Thanks for taking the time to consider...
Read moreMy wife ordered some flowers for prom and got the wrong color ribbons on them for $50. So my wife called Coles Garden and spoke to the representative on the phone and ask them nicely if they could please change the ribbon. The lady that was dealing with my wife thought she put her on hold but did not and then talk to her coworkers Very rudely about my wife and how ridiculous she was for wanting to change the color of the ribbon. She spoke very nasty about my wife to the other employees there. When the representative lady from coles garden garden return to the phone call my wife let her know that she never put her on hold and that my wife overheard everything she was saying about her. Not impressed at all and just buy this one experience we will never shop at Coles garden again!!!
Update I spoke with the owner. She was very nice to me and corrected the issues to the best of her abilities. She apologized and was very respectful to me and my wife. I believe she dealt with the employee that caused...
