Quality of products- ZERO (the majority of furniture is beaten and battered) Customer Service rating- ZERO (Lin quite obviously dislikes his job as well as the customers, I will expand more on this in a moment.

Purchased a painting. When we got it home we found that due to the packaging by Scandinavian Design all 4 corners were damaged beyond repair. We were told to come back for an exchange. We asked to look at the new painting before we took it home and it was in worse condition than the first one. Not to mention that the colors were completely different. The warehouse guys told us that they had just received a new shipment of paintings and that we should look in the showroom for a replacement. We found 2 painting and a mirror. We were told by Lin that we could not purchase the mirror and that we have to order the paintings! We explained our concerns regarding quality (or lack there of) and the inability of guaranteeing that the colors would be exactly the same. It's a painting not a print. How can you possibly purchase something that's going to be a focal point on your wall sight unseen? Not to mention the waisted time on our part driving back and forth with the trailer. He (Lin) absolutely refused to understand or care, nor did he do a good job of disguising his distain. So instead of purchasing 4 pieces of art we walked out. I will also add that the manager was lurking behind him during the entire exchange. We had a really pleasant shopping experience during the Black Friday Sales event. Gary, the sales person was very patient and helpful. He allowed us to roam around the whole store and explore, while answering all of our questions in regards color schemes and pairings available. This is probably one of very few furniture/home furnishing stores where sales reps do not hover over your head and try to persuade you to make a purchase immediately. Needless to say, the furniture at Scandinavian Designs sells itself and once you try out some of the pieces you will want to own all of them. We selected a couple of electronically reclining couches for our new living room, as well as a media center, a full set of side tables, a rug and two giant oil paintings to tie it all together, as well as a dining table and 6 chair set. They should be delivered this week and we will update the review once delivery takes place and we have a chance to use and enjoy our new furniture. It's rare to find things on sale at Scandinavian Designs and we wanted to capitalize on the opportunity to own some really nice high end pieces. We will come back when we need to remodel the bedrooms as there were some very modern and appealing sets available, but our budget was...

I have visited this store several times and made several large purchases over the last couple of years and have been very happy with the service, selection, and layout of the store. Unlike many furniture stores that cram every square inch of floor space with pieces, this store has room to breathe and you can imagine how the furniture will look in your space. I have worked with both Jeff and Fionne at the Concord store and they were both extremely helpful. Jeff has more of a hang back style, while Fiona is more … persistent. So whichever type of sales style you prefer, there is someone who will fit your needs. I have had pieces delivered and I have picked up at the store and both were great experiences. The delivery drivers were prompt, careful, and wore booties and masks. When I picked up in store, they were prompt, friendly and carried the piece out to my car and loaded it without question. I am very happy with the quality of the furniture so far. Very high quality leather and solid build in the Andreas sofa.
