SUMMER FENN MEANS THE WORLD TO OUR WHOLE FAMILY! We have a seven-year-old son who has attended for the last three summers and his younger sister, who is five, attended for the first time last year. Both of our children are passionate about Summer Fenn and, well, so are we as parents. I can't tell you how comfortable I feel dropping my kids off at Summer Fenn each day, knowing full well that they will be full of laughs, stories, good food, and friendship at the end of each afternoon. Specifically, Summer Fenn was a tremendous part of both of our older two children's' transition into kindergarten. They were comfortable in a new environment, knowing from their time at Summer Fenn that adults and peers can be supportive, and that if you are kind (and live the "Summer Fenn Way"), people will typically be kind to you in return. The level of professionalism at Summer Fenn helps it stand apart from other camps. Literally all counselors have some sort of professional experience working with children, and counselors are fully engaged with each camper, taking great pains and time to get to know each kid, understand their likes, their fears, and their silliest traits, and embracing all of them. If you are searching for a top notch summer camp experience for your children, look no further. Summer Fenn Day Camp has been my two children's summer home for the past 9 years. While my eldest has aged out my 14 year old and I will be entering our 10th summer at Summer Fenn. I teach during the school year and I love my summers as a camp counselor at Summer Fenn. I have seen first hand the quality, maturity, responsibility and most importantly the fun that the incredible staff has brought to my children for so long. My recommendation is that of a parent and not as an employee as my testimonial is of no benefit to me. Fenn is without a doubt the best camp I’ve ever experienced. My kids go all summer and love it. My son starts talking about the next summer before he even finishes the one he’s in! The specialty camps are all outstanding - we’ve done chef, pottery, video, STEAM, and soccer and ALL were top notch. Every day is filled with incredible activities and there’s never a time when the kids are bored. The arts and crafts staff are the best and have so many fun activities lined up all summer.
