A monument to the brave Minute Men! Located on the other side of the Old North Bridge, the Statue is where the shot heard round the world was fired. Although the first shots of the revolution were fired in Lexington, this was the first shot fired shortly after Lexington that ended in an American victory. The engraving is a bit weird for seemingly ignoring the battle of Lexington, but it's cool to know the shot heard round the world is where the statue is located.

This is the location, where Ralph Waldo Emerson’s poem quote of “the shot heard around the world” is famous for. This is an amazing place to visit, because it was along Battle Road, that America gave birth to the American dream.
