This dealership is shady. Had them repair my truck when my alternator went out. Final bill ended up being 1,095 because of all the parts that the alternator caused to fail. One of the parts they replaced (anti theft module) started going haywire about 3 weeks after they put it in. Alarm started going off, the system locked out and the vehicle wouldn't start. I had to have it towed to an electrical shop, all the electrical shop did was take out the new module and put my original one back in. It cost me about 200 bucks. Meaning Meyer Motors replaced my properly functioning original module with a bad one, and I had to pay for their mistake. I called Meyer Motors to tell them what happened and asked them to refund me for the part cost and the labor on their bill. Everyone I spoke to was rude and unapologetic. I had to call 3 days in a row because no one would call me back. Finally after I faxed them the reciept and notes from the electrical shop, they reluctantly said they would help me out and send a check. It's been a week and I have heard and received nothing. Just filed a complaint with Ford. If you can go somewhere else, you should. This is not a...
Read moreIt's nice to read the reviews and see they help people when they are in a bind, unfortunately I cannot report the same experience with them. When I call needing a vehicle inspection, they tell me that they are scheduling them three to four weeks out. I live out of state and have a secondary residence near them with a vehicle that is registered in missouri. My trips up there are usually spur of the moment so I'm not able to schedule 3 to 4 weeks out like they require. I explained my situation to them last year to no avail so this year when I called I just let it go when they indicated they don't/won't do drop in vehicle inspections. They have worked on my car in the past and have always done a good job when they have worked on it. It was my father's vehicle that almost exclusively had its maintenance done at Meyer Motors. Unfortunately, If I can't find someone to inspect the vehicle this weekend while I am there so I can renew the tags, I will have to drive it back to my state of residence with expired tags and switch the registration and tags over...
Read moreOn a 2006 Nissan Altima with little to no adjustment in the rear camber Dennis allowed his inexperienced technician to break a bolt. After forgetting to order the tires for the Altima they ended up having this car for two days blaming O'Reilly Auto parts on their inability to correctly order parts they broke. They up charged the owner labor and parts for their mistake after being asked for a simple front end assignment. I spoke with the "owners" who filled me in this is the way they have done business since 1940. I spoke with Devin first who said after disabling the car "they would push it out and we could take it somewhere else". I spoke with Debra Meyer who said that's her son and he's correct, speaking with Dennis did no good. These people run a sour crooked shop that shouldn't be allowed to do repairs they aren't qualified to do. We will have a second shop check all work and we will never return to Meyer motors inc. Awful experience concerning time, communication, and customer service. Please...
