Amish Produce Stand veggies/chickens — Local services in Congress Township

Wish I would have been able to take more with me, but had to get on a plane in a few days.

Grabbed some watermelon and carrots and peppers and fresh concord grapes! Talk about a flavor blast from the past! All of it was so fresh and delicious. Also got a few of their knitted dish rags/scrubbers. Everything was very reasonably priced.

All the kids were helping with various tasks and eager to be of assistance. The girl at the desk taking money was pretty shy, but she did a really good job.

I wasn't able to carry my watermelon to my car and they called over a young boy to help... he wrangled that thing all the way to the other side of their parking area for me... the dang thing was almost as big as he was! But he was determined.

Anyway, I hope I'll be able to go past here again sometime. Loved being able to get such nice fresh produce right from the people...

As I live right down the road, it’s very convenient for me to stop here. Produce is always good, and frequently you can find very ripe items, like this monster tomato which was only $1 (contrast that with most places that sell large fancy tomatoes at $4.99+ a pound) It was SO red and ripe, it made the perfect vBLT! Each slice was larger then the bread itself. The stand is usually ran by kids, and they can be shy, but everyone...

Quality, inexpensive bee hardware, frames, boxes, tops, bottoms, anything you need. Less expensive than the Internet or the closest bee supply shop 10 miles away. Really nice...
