Sometimes life comes at you a lot faster than you plan!! After a very quick sale of my historical home fully furnished and consequently a sooner than previously anticipated retirement I had about three weeks to purchase all new furnishings before moving to the Hill Country. Rugs, furniture, lighting, art, floral & miscellaneous decor!

I am 83 years old, the biggest blessing in all this is that I came to Donna’s Home Furnishings!

All I brought with me to start with was an exceptional original large abstract painting!

Donna’s entire staff was amazing. My Designer/Decorator Jimmy after discussions of the style I was going for and the colors I was most comfortable in pulled together the most incredible collection of furnishings from exquisite furniture and rugs for several rooms to all Bella Note linens for bedroom to all Visual Comfort lamps and lighting! The very best part of working with Donna’s staff is that they allowed me to collaborate and make suggestions on anything I saw that I thought might work better!

There were a lot of decisions made and a lot thing’s bought in a relatively short period of time. I have never had an experience this intense go so easy and more pleasant. Actually it was really fun to work with such a talented, experienced, professional and friendly group as had at Donna’s!

Never once did I call and not get an immediate response! I was very grateful that I was updated frequently as special orders started to arrive!

The result is that I have a very comfortable and beautiful retirement home. Every aspect of this entire experience exceeded my expectations!

The quality of every item was exceptional and exactly as represented as the individual items were chosen!

Wow! I’d give this business 10 stars, if that was possible! We stopped into Donna’s Home Furnishings to look for some patio furniture. We found an amazing bargain on some Summer classic patio furniture and decided to purchase it. During that process, Annie, the store manager, mentioned to us that the lady who had been helping us, Simoni, was a well traveled designer with over 30 years experience and she would be glad to give us some ideas for our new home. We spoke with Simoni on the phone so she could get a feel for what we liked and to get a theme for our project. We have done this many times elsewhere and have never gotten the amazing results we did with her. Simoni designed a magazine worthy living and dining room design, complete with furniture, rugs, recommendations for artwork, paint colors, lighting… basically everything to make it beautiful. She took our likes and dislikes and crafted the perfect room with more style than we ever could have imagined.

Do yourself a favor and stop into Donna’s Home Furnishings and take a look at their showroom! Keep in mind, they can get you furniture from many sources at very competitive prices. They also offer full design services, which is absolutely the best we have found. What...

I recently purchased a Curio cabinet for approximately $1,800.00. After it was delivered and not to mention on top of the price, I paid the delivery fee of $75.00. It just didn’t seem to fit or fall into place for the space I had in mind. I attempted to see if they would take it back. As a small boutique furniture store, I would think that customer satisfaction would be a priority. I have shopped many other furniture boutiques in the area and they give a standard 3 day policy to ensure the customer will like the piece in their home and be satisfied with the purchase. Nope, not the case with Donna’s. They say it is their policy to not accept any returns. I will never shop here again. And, it’s to their disadvantage because I have a new home that needs to be furnished. Plus, my review and recommendation of their business just went out the window.
