Byler Electric — Local services in Constantine Township

I don't understand what it is about contractors. I've had 3 already flake out on me. And my hands are tied because the law requires me to use lisenced contractors. So this was the third place I've tried. Sure, someone came out and looked at what I needed done, but just like everyone else, I never heard back from you. I called you last Monday, which was 3 weeks after someone had been out, and the receptionist left a note for someone to call. Someone called me back 2 days later, and it wasn't who I was supposed to get the quote from, so he said he would have the right person call me. Tomorrow marks 4 weeks since someone was out at my house. I still haven't heard anything from anyone. So I assume you don't want to do the job. Fine. But why can't anyone be adult enough to call me and tell me? I've now wasted more time. I don't have time to waste. I'm a stylist. So the farther I'm put behind schedule because of people like you, the more lives you affect. I have a lot of people counting on me. I have a lot of clients...

Had a 1 day job to install a few lights and outlets . Contacted them that project would be built and done a certain day n was told it would be 3 weeks till they could get to it. Which was perfect. But they ended up keeping to push it off . The 1 day job turned into 3 months to get it done . Had to continuously call and stay on there case to get it done . Always some kind of excuse to not show up when they had said they would . Job ended up costing more than what the quote was due to not wanting to make calls and get and actual quote prior to quoting it . So we had to come out of pocket with more money . Very poor communication. Myself n my customer were told they'd be back 4 days later to install the last exterior light and ended up being a month later before being installed . We will definitely not be using this...

Was referred to this company by two different people. I called, made appointment. I was stood up with no call/no show first appointment. I called back, made new appointment, after giving them benefit of the doubt. Been waiting 2 weeks for quote/estimate when I was told about a week. Called the company again, spoke with office manager who assured me that I'd be receiving my quote in the next day or two. Nothing. How do companies/contractors operate this way and still stay in business? Trying to use local companies over anyone else due to Corona and this is the service...
