I took my sewing machine in which is a brother Disney embroidery machine. I am very very upset with them they have had my machine for 2-3 months no one has called except 1 time, and they still have it. I took it in for service and they said they had to replace the bobbin case and they did the service on it then told me the timing was out so they needed to contact brother to get a manual, they for one and it was not the right one.i told them their was a brother dealer in south bend, they said that they has another one coming and that is the last time i have heard anything. I dont feel that I should be charge the price that they are charging me. For one no one called me to let me know that the bobbin casing had to be replaced and the labor for that is just wrong on what they charged. Lack of communication and extremely slow service was expierienced with this company. Was given a turn-around service repair time of 2-3 weeks back mid November 2017 and today is January 4th 2018 and still not serviced. When I questioned the owner about not being contacted at all and why this was taking such a long time she shrugged her shoulders and said they got ‘busy’! Who does that, right? I had contacted them after 3 weeks since no call was made to me but then was forgotten on hold while someone went to inquire about my machine....which then a voicemail was left apologizing about that and was also told it would be yet another week until it was finished and that I would be receiving a call. Nope, you guessed it...no call!!! I realize that my Kenmore machine may be 15+ yrs old and not that valuable to them but I had plans to make items for this last Christmas, like I always do...and that...

What a wonderful surprise in nearby Constantine, Michigan. This quaint shop on a historic downtown corner store is packed from floor to ceiling with beautiful and unique fabrics. It was exciting to see a collection I haven't seen most everywhere else.

They have beautiful fat quarters at $3.25 (buy 6 get one free) and Amy will cut a fat quarter from any fabric as long as she has the time. That's really hard to find, and wildly appreciated! I'm a fat quarter girl.

Anyway, Amy Watson and her assistant, Judy, we're warm, welcoming and helpful. Walked out with 21 Fatties (3 were free), and all unique and special. The best part is that I live ten minutes away.
