ALDI Distribution Center — Local services in Contiguous United States

I am amending my review: The first time I came here I gave them five stars. This time I would give them minus five stars if I could. The only good point is, They let you check in starting at 8:30. My appt was at 1:00 I had to go in at 1:30 am to see what was what. They ONLY had 5 produce doors working and ONLY 3 LUMPERS for that side. ALL THE OTHER LUMPERS WERE ON THE GROCERY SIDE . I was given a door that come to find out wasn't working. After sitting in the door for 2 hours and none of the trucks around me being pulled out of the dock, I go back inside to find out what's what. While I'm standing there, I'm getting the link to pay for the lumper and they haven't even started unloading me. Come to find out the door that I was given doesn't work so they want me to pull in another door which still has a driver in it. He's been unloaded for over 2 hours and waiting on his link to pay for his lumper. The first time I was here it was easy peasy, this time is a nightmare. Undoubtedly there is no consistency in the quality of work coming out of here with the lumper service

WHEN YOU BACK INTO THE DOCK YOUR LIGHT IS GREEN. WHEN THEY START UNLOADING YOU IT TURNS RED. WHEN IT TURNS GREEN AGAIN PULL OUT OF THE DOCK AND PARK ACROSS THE WAY, FREEING UP THE DOCKS FOR THE OTHER DRIVERS.

After reading all of the horror stories on the reviews, I just knew I was going to have a bad experience at this DC Center. But I was pleasantly surprised. I checked in at the guard check at 9:15 p.m. and staged where everybody else was and at 11:30 they put me in a door and they had me unloaded before my appointment time which was 2:00 a.m. Everybody there was such a pleasure to work with. You don't go inside to talk to anybody. You give your paperwork to the guard. They will pick it up from her/ him and then they will call you with the door. After you are unloaded The lumper service will send you a link on relay to pay your lumper fee. Mine was $76. The cheapest I've ever gotten away at a grocery warehouse, then after a little bit they will call you to come get your paperwork. If you want to go back to bed or finish out your break you can do it right there at the facility and you can stay as long as you need. I don't know if it's like this every night but I know the night that I went there it was very easy unloading and getting my paperwork. I would definitely come back to this...

I'm an O/O that had the displeasure of making a delivery to this distribution center on Friday 3/15/19. They have a lumper service there called Capstone Logistics. The woman who takes your money is one rudest women I've ever had to deal with, lucky for her I was raised better than to cuss people out which she deserved. First they charged $85 for a straight pull off then when I presented her a comcheck which is good as cash once registered charged me $4 more to pay by check...ridiculous. Aldi joins the ranks of other big food warehouses who pass their responsibilities of offloading THEIR products cost to drivers who have already done their job by picking up their freight and driving 100's of miles to deliver it to them, then they gut punch you by hiring outside company to handle the warehouse duties and charge you for that service. Call me crazy but its THEIR FREIGHT so why are O/O's and other trucking companies paying them to offload THEIR FREIGHT? Another form of extortion. Do yourself a favor and don't even book this cheap freight as they will be in your wallet for more of your money to unload their freight after your costs in...

Brand new facility. Friendly employees, please keep an eyes on ur paperwork make sure they give u the back the right paperwork.. employees are or work as if they are new on their job , over all not bad place ,, I missed my appointment yesterday 9/30/18 , but any ways they don’t really go by appointment,, They start receiving @ 3am I checked in at 2 am at guard shack..if u need to stay here ......yes they will let u park here as long as you need or as long as u wnat there’s a town of room across from the loading doors where u can park all night .. or if u don’t want to stay here just down the road there’s a small truck stop that has a parking lot behind the main parking lot there’s all ways room there to park..hope this will help some one.. drive safe & have a wonderful DAY 😀 .... ohhh and if u need to scale out ur truck and triler ?? they do have a single axle scale (brand new 2) you can use if u need to . Scale is by the guard shack on the right hand side as if u were coming out ....... don’t forget to bring cash or check for unloading lumper fee , no credit card...
