This Should NOT Be Called a State Fair
The Georgia State Fair was honestly one of the worst fair experiences I’ve ever had. It shouldn’t even be called a state fair it felt more like a small, thrown-together county fair at best. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting easily the worst I’ve ever seen. They were all porta potties, with no running water anywhere, just a single table with empty hand sanitizer bottles that were never refilled. There was literal poop on the ground, and not one porta potty had toilet paper. Completely unacceptable for an event this size. There was also basically nothing to do. They did have rides and games, but that is the only real attraction. No 4H exhibits, no concerts, no entertainment worth seeing nothing that would make it feel like a real state fair. Don’t bother brining your kids stroller because it’s all large uneven gravel and you’ll just end up caring it. The whole event is outside so if it rains there’s no where to go other than just leaving.
Overall, it was dirty, disappointing, and a total waste of...

You have to pay $10 for parking. $15 for admission plus an additional fee for a wrist band to ride the rides. So for my partner, our child, and myself (only one wristband purchase) it was a total of $85 to get in add the parking that’s $95 dollars immediately! The lines were extremely long for every ride that my son barely got to ride anything, and we stayed for 6 hours. Food was very expensive. It was so much dirt silly me I assumed because of the location it wouldn’t be. The vendors are everywhere with high price nick nacks. The vibe was off it was no music or anything....
