I went to the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival on 3/23/24 to just drop off, wait and pick up a person that was part of the festival. The organization ......... a real disaster. The Conyers Police, very rude. The festival had no signage to indicate where people had to go (enter and/or exit), no concise directions, there were people that were instructed to exit one way, others were allowed to exit through the same way as the entrance. When I was leaving, I was going the wrong direction but because there was no signage indicating where the exit was and a Conyers yelled at me as if I were a criminal. I was just trying to exit the facility. Very bad experience. Don't think I'll ever participate. I have to go again tomorrow, hopefully I don't encounter the...
Read moreLove this festival. Lots of unique vendors. They have give aways and live music. Activities for kids, food vendors like the ones you find at fairs. Be prepared to pay for parking but the event itself is free. Trust me when I tell you you'll find lots of things you'll want to take home. My only issue was that there was only one booth that I found that served beer. My big issue was paying $15 for an Italian sausage with only onions on it, and it was not good.
