Carroll County Fairgrounds — Local services in Coon Rapids

Figure 8 races are terrific fun....and I don't like loud noises or cars, nor do I know any of the drivers or sponsors. Went with the family during vacation last year and was so happy we got to go again this year. This is small town fun at it's best.

The races are crazy to watch. This year they had a mini-van class at the end...absolutely hilarious...and my daughter has decided maybe our Caravan may have a life after I finish driving the wheels off her :-) The fire department, the 4-H and FFA clubs, the community voluteers, the various school sports teams - everybody helps, everybody involves the whole audience - they have frisbee throws and a raffle and the announcer does a terrific job of recognizing everyone.

If I had a business in the area I would be all over helping sponsor these races or a car. What a great community building...

Was warmly welcomed to this small county fair. Not much to see or do, but fun for a little...

Fun but not much to do if you're planning to stay for more than one day....
