Bandon Dunes Golf Resort - Bandon Trails Golf Course — Local services in Coos Bay

It does not get any better! Bandon Dunes, Trails, OMD, SR... any course... First, the natural beauty is unmatched! The scenery will distract you from golf its so beautiful. You will be reaching for your camera and your club at the same time! It can be quite challenging. Wind, rain, topography, course design, hazards, features, tee boxes and distances... I wish I could give more than five stars.

The hospitality is sublime! They get it right! It doesn't appear that they are working to get it right (and I know they are) but they nail it! From hotel, to pro shop, to course, to housekeeping, to shuttle, to, to, to... not enough superlatives to share...

It is on my list for annual play. One week dedicated to being on this course for the whole week. I don't think I am going to leave the resort... Lord knows you don't have to!

Some things that are naturally challenging that you have to negotiate: Bandon is tough to get to. Eugene is the closest major airport. Smaller airports are KOTH, BDY... but they can be very expensive.

2.The drive from Eugene is scenic, winding, hilly, fun and beautiful... but it is 2.5 hours all day!

Renting a car can be a whole story! There were none available when I went! I had to rent one from a dealership.

This course ain't cheap! Worth every nickel... but ain't cheap by no stretch of the imagination!

Bandon is small, quaint, interesting but not much there to do!

An absolute top notch course. This course is extremely underrated and should be a must play if you are visiting Bandon. The course was in perfect condition while I was there and even though it poured the last 8 holes of the course, it was still my favorite course of the bunch that I played. This isn't the course that gives you the ocean views but it is by far the best walk out there. It is a more difficult walk but it is the best walk. This will be a must play when I return. I purchased some merch from the Trails pro shop and when I got it home I realized that the shirt I picked out had a design that made zero sense to me (Baseball in a golf pro shop). I got on the manufacturers website and noticed there was a golf version and so I emailed the pro shop James got back to me quickly, verified the shop had the design I was talking about in my size and put it on hold. The resort was absolutely amazing. We played Sheep Ranch on Saturday and the course was perfect fairways, and Greens were gorgeous. It rained for about 1:30, after then the sun opened up and the back nine every photo and shot and putt was breathtaking. Super Bowl Sunday we played Bandon Trails. The course again was amazing but very tough. Only feedback was to me directly hit the ball long get it on the top tier of the green. Bunkers, Fairways, green again were perfect condition.
