This review is for the Pacific Grill at Pacific Dunes. On the bright side, the food, golf course views, and service were excellent. Not so good is that the restaurant is very poorly designed with a very large bar in the center. And, twice we had a large group of 8-10 people standing at the bar right next to our table. They were very loud and boisterous which would have been fine if they weren't standing two feet from our table. The bar really needs to be more isolated from the dining room. Stopped for lunch and literally the best salad, club sandwich with gluten-free bread and grilled cheese we ever had!!! Received a recommendation from the waitress to try the grilled cheese...not something we would normally order at a restaurant, but it was amazing! Read moreWhat an incredible course! The course was in fantastic condition and the weather was great (wind was 30+MPH on some holes but that is expected this time of year). Definitely will be making a return trip back in the future. I also strongly recommend the par 3 course, make the trip a few days if you’re able. Finally, I did not have a have a caddie but the group I played with did however. His name is Louis Wantland, incredibly knowledgeable and fun! I recommend a caddie on Pacific Dunes or you will get lost going...
