Currydale Farms — Local services in Coos Bay

Extremely frustrating experience. Polite, but complete lack of desire to help the customer. Example: they gave out samples of a new product (food) at their recent open house, but when I went back to buy some a month later, they told me they were not carrying the brand and couldn't tell me the name of the company so I could research it on the internet (I eventually found it). Then they were selling pouches of cat food at a discount if you bought a box of 12, but they didn't want to give me the buy 12 price if I mixed the types of food pouches, despite the fact that all boxes were open on the shelf and they carried all the types of the food. VERY unhappy customer. Went to CHEWY on line and found EVERYTHIING I was looking for, shipping is FREE and Chewy was CHEAPER to boot. Unfortunate Currydale was not willing to put a little more effort into customer service as I make every attempt to buy local in this small Oregon town to support the community but I won't support this type of...

The staff at Currydale are over the moon with kindness and customer service. Their prompt customer service, warm smiles and friendly demeanor are shown to everyone, be it local or someone new to the community. Eager to share product knowledge and answer questions, I'm very thankful for their help. They graciously let our 591c3 nonprofit use some pallets that were not suitable for stacking things on. We dismantled them and created accent walls and wainscotting for our nonprofit gift shop in old town. Without their help, our remodel would not have been as unique as it is. One star each for two of the employees who helped me with my purchase. Both guys were very friendly and helpful, negative three stars, for the oddly rude manager who refused to even acknowledge me while I was asking her for an application for employment... She never presented one to me at all. Even though every employee said they were hiring.(Which was why I was inquiring) she said "no. I've already hired everyone I need" (other employee had just told me they did not have anyone of age to use certain equipment) I have never met this woman before but she was so rude to the employee who asked her, for me, that I will not be returning again.
