Shore Acres State Park Gift Shop — Local services in Coos Bay

Shore Acres is a magical place that we in Oregon are blessed to have and to enjoy. Volunteers work very hard to keep the gardens beautiful all year long so folks from all over can enjoy a leisurely stroll through them. The rangers are always willing to answer questions, and the gift shop individuals are friendly and helpful. The nominal $5 fee includes parking AND the gardens. Where else can you enjoy such an incredible experience for $5 ? A truly AMAZING...

The gift shop is nice and it looks like they are building a new back deck. The grass and hedges here have deteriorated over the years but maybe they are getting some funding to restore it. The rest of the flowers were nice. They put new interior cedar ceilings in the building where the house used to be. Still a great place. I bet it is still magical at Christmas with all the lights.
