Giving 1 star. As someone who shops at this location EVERY WEEK, spending hundreds of $$ here my experience tonight was shocking to be treated the way I was. The old, caucasian lady with white hair was BEYOND unprofessional. She purposely didnāt tell me a checkout station was open until I physically moved to check because a couple in front was in the way to even see the screen as there was a paper stating something on it. I finally get to check out and placed my phone on top of a weight scale. I had no clue it was weighing my phone prompting help on the screen. She comes over already with an attitude & told me itās because I placed my phone there not even knowing it was interfering. Instead of HANDING me my phone she places MY PHONE, MY PROPERTY, further away on top of the register. I simply stated āyou couldāve just handed me my phone,ā instead of basically scooting it on something else and further away. At this point, I am already irritated because she caught an attitude with me for not knowing the scale was reading my phone which I DIDNT KNOW. Instead of helping me & fixing the screen so I can continue scanning the rest of my items, she caught more of an attitude and walked away basically insinuating sheās not going to help me. She stood by her stand point and didnāt even look me in the face. I proceeded to grab what I already scanned and moved to another station. I cannot believe I was just treated this way in this Kroger. We have been coming here for months and NEVER had any issue. This particular lady has had weird looks to me before and never thought anything of it. I get people have bad days but this is a pattern from her. Me being a woman of color I feel discriminated against. She purposely didnāt let me know there was a lane open but was willingly guiding others to an open one. She for no reason approached with an attitude as well and then decided to walk away and help me all because I stated she couldāve handed me my phone instead of tossing it further. Super disappointing, disrespectful and disheartening. And yes, I did say stuff indirectly to her since she couldnāt look me in the face knowing she didnāt want to help me. I am genuinely still in shock this type of behavior is accepted and allowed to work for Kroger. I will continue shopping here but will 100% be avoiding her and if youāre a person of color I highly suggest you do the same if you see her. I didnāt get to see her name as she completely avoided me cause she knows what she did was unprofessional and wrong. You do not treat customers like this and if youāre having a bad day, GO HOME. Sheās an elderly, caucasian lady with WHITE hair who works late as well. Super...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTo summarize my year of shopping at this store; it is heavily disorganized, online ordering for pickup means youāll have to go into the disorganized store and do it yourself, and if you order online for delivery, they will mark your delivery as completed and arrived, but none of your order will be there.
If you put an online order for pick-up, they will not only get the order wrong, but 90% of the items listed āout of stockā on your pick-up will actually be available. I will concede that in that particular instance the items were not easily found in their particular sections after I had to go and find the items myself, but the shelves were all over-stocked and absolutely nothing was where the labels showed them to be. I realize there is a labor shortage, but my god. If you put an online order for delivery, it will not only not get delivered, but most of the items you selected will ALSO be labeled as out of stock on your delivery, but donāt worry; after another 20 minutes on the phone navigating through automated menus, youāll have someone on the phone tell you āthe order shows as delivered, are you sure itās not there?ā $120 order, I would not have called if it was at the very least located around the building. We even left gate code and instructions on how to get to the apartment, along with contact information so that if there was an issue finding the apartment or getting to the complex, the driver could call to get help; nope. None of that happened. I could at least say the sushi is always good, but thatās a separate company renting a kiosk in the store, so Iām not sure if that counts.
I donāt know what particular process is needed, but clearly yāall need to get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped at this Kroger like I do after work almost every week to get groceries for dinner for my family. Lupe at the customer service area was so phenomenal, her personality and her interacting with the customers was beyond positive and beyond Standards that I have ever seen for a grocery store Kroger compared to Walmart, HEB or even Target has made me a Kroger junkie!! Lupe deserves a pay raise. She does so much for all of her customers, and she deserves to be awarded for it. She could be monitoring the cashiers and assisting them, and the customers walk up to her and talk to her like thatās their family member that they havenāt seen in years! So many people in the span of 10 minutes of me being in the store and checking out went up to her and recognized her and just had a nice casual conversation like you would with your neighbor!! She is the true definition of a lovely human being and she deserves the world ā¤ļøshe treats those customers like they are her family. I even had to ask for her help because she seemed like the friendliest person in the store and she helped me find AA batteries and a case of Canada Dry that I just could not find. Her and I got into such a nice conversation over the few minutes I borrowed of her time to assist me in finding what I needed. š I would love to see a response from management or someone higher up stating that she got what she deserved! Lupe if you see this, I hope you know how much you are loved by your...
