This review is about the girls who work the front and set up appointments! I saw my primary care Dr at the end of October 2018, was treated for chronic bronchitis. 2 weeks later I am still not feeling well I called to get back in to see my Dr , I was told to go to the walk in clinic as they could not fit me in. I called every week through November trying to get in but each time I called I was told go to the walk in clinic, December 2018 still could not get the girls to set me up an appointment with my primary care Dr, January 2019 still no luck getting in to see my primary care DR. I explained to these girls on several occasions that I was sick and really needed to see my primary care Dr, the beginning of February I called again and explained that the walk in clinic really wanted me to see my primary care Dr and explained to them that I was going to have cervical surgery and I was sure my Dr would want to know this...I had surgery on February 19 2019, 2 weeks after I called once again to see my primary DR told the girls I had surgery on the 19th and I was not feeling well and really needed to see my primary Dr...again I was told to go to the walk in clinic. After 3 more visits to the walk in clinic in Crawfordsville , they done a CT of head and neck, it was abnormal, I was told it was very vital that I seen my primary care Dr. I call the clinic and to my surprise they make an appointment, it took 5 months for these girls to finally get me in to see my Primary Care Dr , 5 months of not feeling well. I now am in Stage 4 cancer had I got in 5 months ago I may have only been in Stage 1 or Stage 2 of cancer and maybe could have had this surgically removed and possibly cured, Not going to happen now! Shame on you girls for not getting me in to see my DR...
Read moreNearly every month there's a disconnect between pharmacy and staff at Ascension resulting in an interruption in prescribed anxiety meds--more anxiety and detox symptoms every time I run out. Staff at the clinic just informed me that they never sent in my psych referral after telling me I was on wait list for 2 years. I was told in May that I was on the list and had a 6 week wait when I was never put on any list at all. I tried to call office 9 separate times on 9/20 to clarify instructions on how to take my meds and ask which hospital the Dr wanted me to go to, since he could no longer help me. The staff refused to help me or connect me with nurse and told me not to go to any hospital,. My mom (75) had to drive me back to the clinic and go up to the counter to get the name of the hospital from the staff. I still don't have clarification on how to take my meds. I returned a call today and staff asked me why I was calling since they already spoke to me and everything was fine. I finally have the meds that were due to be filled over a week ago but one was D/C during appointment on 9/19 and office staff refuse to give me clarification on what to take and what not to take. And I still don't have a psych referral. It's as if I don't even have a doctor, not because the doctor doesn't want to help me. But because I'm being denied access to care, medication and information. If I didn't have a strong support system in place with family friends, I'd probably be dead in a ditch somewhere and no one at Ascension would...
Read moreMy nurse was exceptional, my phlebotimist is equally amazing.
However, I walked in there with an eager perspective to finally get some resources regarding my weight journey. My nurse practitioner Jacqueline quickly rushed me out the door. The Visit probably took only 5 minutes.
I have visited this clinic at least 5 times I the last few years trying to find out why I can't get this weight off, why am I so extremely tired, and is there and medication that assists my body to break down sugars?
In return I am told to "diet and excercise" which I have made clear I have been. I was also told to "get online- your BMI is not high enough for our clinic to help you".
I get it PC providers probably get weight loss visits all the time. Same style of patient different day in their perspective. . I didn't like feeling like I was potentially to lazy or not attempted several resources.
Thyroid checked (4Xs), referral for gastric baloon that fell through as services no longer offered, and paid to go get Gastric Sleeve in Mexico. -Which she snickered about- that is not funny to me. I am desperate to lose this weight.
Vent over- if you are looking for a Clinican to assist you in your weight loss journey and take your seriously, Jacqueline NP at Vburg Clinic is...
