I love going here to buy and sell but it's really hard to sit there and watch the animals be mistreated by people buying them stuffing chickens in cages when they are over crammed in the first place people don't have any feelings for these animals yes they are going to slaughter but it does not mean that they have to be mistreated until they get there lots of animals are left without food and water a lot of times and it's so hot in there at times that the animals are panting and their lethargic It's just sad it doesn't have to be that way people need to be a little more remorseful for their animals and care for them the way they should I'd like to stuff a few of them in cages and leave them without food and water in the heat I think they're ought to be other laws and rules put in place for these auctions people tend to walk around the auction smoking and or smoking at the door and it blows right in those people that cannot handle that sort of thing that are sick from that sort of thing or get sick from that smell they shouldn't have to endure that when they are spending lots of money sitting there the cigarette trays outside are supposed to be 10 ft from the door there's our right at the door I asked many times for people to please move away from the door when they are smoking so that the fan does not blow it in to the auction house it's hard to sit there comfortably and do what you are there to do when you are being disturbed by something so petty people do not care about the animals and they do not care about other people's health strict laws and rules should apply everywhere you go I do love the food there and talking to the people that come food can be a little expensive for what it is I tried to get along with everybody sometimes that doesn't happen especially on the Animals part I would love to be able to go here more often but with my bad health I cannot I used to go every single auction for many many years I've been going there since I was 5 years old it has changed different auctions over the years I am now 56 years old I missed the cattle auction it was great before it became a horse auction it was one place I could get quality cattle for next to nothing this day and age it's really hard to buy anything unless you have a lot of money and no brains I hope it stays a livestock auction for a long time Kevin has done a great job the best he can...

Recently went to the auction here. I sat at this place for hours to buy some hens to start a backyard flock at home. As of six weeks, still not one egg. Of course if I could keep them from passing on me they might actually lay. Started with 8 and now only have five, as well as the loss of one of my young chicks. Everyone keeps getting sick one at a time and 😞. Animals are poorly treated and just all around a horrible experience. I won't return. I'd be weary of going here. Gotta be a better place than this. Be careful when buying here. We went to one of there Friday night sales. They tried to charge me for something we didn't buy. So they took it off our bill. So now I receive a bill in the mail for what they took off. They said they have it taped that they said my number 3 times. Okay I was not buying at that time. So why would i pay attention to the number they are telling out! Plus now that I have put about my incident on social media I'm not the first person this has happened to! Good auction to stay...
