Food Lion — Local services in Crab Orchard

I started shopping at Food Lion a couple years ago, just a trip here and there. The last 6 months I've been shopping there alot more often, and now usually go once a week. We drive from Shady area, even sitting in all the traffic from the road work in MacArthur just to shop at the Lester Square/Sophia location. Its became my only grocery store. I can't say enough about this store. The store is always clean and well stocked. Produce Dept is the best in the area, always fresh produce. The meat dept is always stocked and the young man that works in that department is always super friendly and very helpful. The deli is always clean with friendly employees. All employees at this location are always friendly and helpful. Foo Lion has more variety in every isle than any other store around here. I won't shop anywhere else...

Food Lion is one of the few old fashion supermarket's that has a butcher on duty.

Shopping at Food Lion is a relaxing experience. The store is clean and neat and it's shelves are always stocked.

The deli is excellent and they also do birthday cake's and party tray's for your special occasions.

If you're tired of crowded mega stores and lack of customer service you will really love food lion.

Went there tonight and the manager was very rude to me over my service dog. He's registered online as a service dog for emotional support for my anxiety and for comfort for my autistic daughter. On the way in The door said service animals welcome but he kicked us outta the store. My dog doesn't have it's vest yet but still that shouldn't have mattered and it's just a little chihuahua we carry in our arms. I found that very rude and it upset...
