Rae’s Kitchen — Local services in Craigsville

I used Rae’s Kitchen for an event I was hosting for about 40 people. Of course I had about 5 people who had dietary needs. Vegan and Gluten-free. But Chef Rae made it so easy for me. It was one less thing I needed to worry about as she took care of the menu and sent to me for approval. All I had to do was place a 50% deposit and she allowed me to pay it off up until 2 weeks before the event.

The menu was so flavorful and delicious. We had brown stewed chicken, curry chicken, oxtail, rice and beans, Mac and cheese, Haitian patties, fried plantain and sweet plantain. We also ordered her Caribbean fruit punch, Can be with liquor or without liquor. But it’s a recipe she said her mom passed down to her. I was trying to see if she would give me that recipe because it was so good.

She showed up early with her crew. Set up was great and ready to eat once the event started. We planned for 50 plates, 36 showed and all the food was finished. I saw a lot of to go containers and her team gave my guests food to go. It was so flavorful and delicious. My friend is using her on his kids 5 year old birthday to have this food and she does cupcakes.

She is so easy to work with and the food tastes like it’s made with LOVE....

I had the pleasure of hosting an event catered by Rae’s Kitchen and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of service and food provided.

The food was absolutely delicious! The menu was carefully crafted, featuring a variety of dishes that catered to different dietary needs. I especially loved the Jerk wings- it was flavorful, well-cooked. The fruit salad was delicious and beautifully presented. The Curry Goat was also a hit among the guests, with many going back for seconds (and even thirds!)

Overall, I would highly recommend Rae’s Kitchen for any event. Rae truly went above and beyond to make sure the event was a success, and her ability to work with our budget. The food was so amazing that I’m booking her again for my daughter’s graduation party, you won’t be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of experiencing The food from Rae’s Kitchen. What a delight! Words cannot express the lovely presentation at all times, and the attention which seems to have taken to each dish. I would encourage you to venture to Rae’s kitchen if you have not visited as yet. The food is You will not go wrong with whatever you choose. I continue to order from the variety of dishes that’s filled with American, Haitian and Trinidadian spices. This cultural touch certainly enhances the flavor in these dishes.
