Bad experience. They took advantage of me and sold me a used truck with who knows how many problems. It kept having a burning smell coming from the engine block, so I talked to the salesman. He said they would check it out, but they simply went back there and sprayed some cleaner on top to remove the oil, which did not do anything for the problem. After investigating, it seems I may need to replace the head gasket. It also needed a new windshield, which they had installed through another company, but it's the worst install job I've ever seen. Somehow it leaks water into the vehicle so the floor is wet after it rains. How cool huh? I love damp carpet that will easily grow mold! Yet everything was fine.... I even had to buy a new air filter for the vehicle. I know it was used but I paid $26 grand for it, and all used vehicles go through certain checks, I know this for certain for I have worked at a number of dealerships myself. To leave such simple things like the air filter, that shows how much they really don't give a crap, except to get your money. The salesman kept smiling while lying to my face. The way things worked out, I didn't get a chance to really look at the vehicle, and they took advantage of that. I paid cash and they couldn't wait to get my $$$, so no matter what I asked about, everything was ALL GOOD. They will never again get my business, nor will I recommend...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Hamilton Ford Service Department. I paid $650.00 in April for a brake job that included new pads and turned rotors — and only six months later, the brakes are already shaking, and the front left rotor has heat spots and a large lip from uneven wear. When I brought it back, I was told it was “most likely a hung-up caliper or pinched brake hose,” but that there’s no warranty on the work. If that’s the case, then the caliper and hose should have been properly inspected when the brake service was performed — and who’s to say it wasn’t due to their own negligence? It’s partly my mistake for not noticing sooner, since it’s my wife’s vehicle and I only recently drove it and discovered the issue. Still, this level of workmanship and accountability is unacceptable. I took my wife’s vehicle here for convenience and to support local business, but this experience has completely changed my mind. From now on, I’ll do the work myself — I’ll save money and have peace of mind knowing it’s done right. I will never bring a vehicle here again, and I cannot recommend this service department to anyone who expects quality or...
Read moreNot a dealership I would do business with, bought a truck with a warranty and was told seals and issues would be covered. Took it in for a once over prior to warranty expiring and was told all was good no problems. Come to find out differential seal was bad and now I’m out of warranty so no help there. Little to no communication throughout the process, when there was communication it was “we can’t find anything.” When I challenged them on this they acted like I had no clue what I was talking about. After a week of no communication I went to pickup my truck and it was sitting outside key on the center console with no one around. All around bad experience and would not recommend you do business with this dealerships. Now I’m out 10 grand for repairs that should have been covered under warranty. Who do I...
