Prairie Agate Rock Shop — Local services in Crawford

We love this shop beyond words and go out of our way to visit as often as possible, despite it being over an hour away from us. It is a great family owned business, and the whole family is so friendly and helpful. The museum portion of the shop has some pretty incredible specimens. They have an amazing, large collection of megalodon teeth that always brings me back for more. There is a large variety of various geological specimens, a great selection of beads and cabs, and so much to love and explore. If you're on your way through western Nebraska heading to Rapid City, Denver, or Wyoming, it is absolutely worth stopping in. They are super close to Fort Robinson, and they help orchestrate an annual "Rock Swap" in the park that brings in great dealers from the surrounding areas. It's...

Great selection of rocks and fossils. Very reasonable prices. We stopped in because my wife remembered how much she liked it 3 years ago( we live 800 miles away). The people running the store are just as fun to talk to as looking at the rocks and fossils. Highly recommended if you like these types of stores.(8/20/18) stopped in again,and enjoyed just as much.
