Absolutely stunning! Absolutely stunning! That's really the only way to describe this amazing Stout Grove. The Grove is full of redwood trees and right along the Smith River as part of the Smith River floodplain. If you have a low clearance car go a bit slow on howland road and but once you get closer to the Grove throat is actually paved leading up to the parking lot. The Grove itself is magnificent and totally worth a visit even if you have only a half a day or even a couple of hours. Make it a point to visit this Grove if you are in the area and if you appreciate the ancient redwood trees that are here. There's really nothing more to say other than I highly recommend it.
