Maurices — Local services in Creston

Normally love the Maurices in Creston, IA but they have either changed management or their employees don’t know what customer service is. Went in on a Thursday around 1:00pm. Place wasn’t busy, 2 other people in the store. Opened the door and was quite surprised when the employee behind the counter made eye contact with me but didn’t smile or say one word. Looked around and saw the other employee, again, made eye contact and not a word was spoken. Walked around for a bit waiting on one of them to ask if I was looking for anything in particular, as this is what I have come to expect from ANY Maurices. Another man and woman walked in and not a word was spoken to them either. Courtney is the Manager of this Maurices and I would like to tell her that she lost a long time customer and will likely lose more unless she gets Emma and her other employees trained. Went to the Maurices in Maryville, MO and received exactly the customer service I expect from this store. Will just take my business there...

I was very disappointed at Maurices today. I went to the store approximately 3:45. There were two clerks busy visiting with friends. After the friends left 1 clerk got on her phone and the other made herself look busy. Not one time was I even acknowledged. Not even greeted. I stayed in the store for 20-30 minutes. I left because I decided that I was not important enough for either girl to help me. When I left the one clerk was still on her phone. Great women's clothing and awesome staff! Went in with my son looking for leggings for his girlfriend, and the sales associate was very knowledgeable and helped us get what we came for. It was nice to shop at this location and be treated so well...
