Terrible customer service!! My husband and I inquired about carpet installation. The flooring manager couldn't have been less interested or helpful. After asking several times for measurements on a roll of carpet they had available he insisted it wasn't enough for us. The carpet installer came by to measure our room and closet and over measured by 13 plus yards. This would have cost us an additional $400. The manager explained this was the only way he could order rolls of carpet and we would have to just eat the cost. We were quoted for the carpet he claimed wasn't enough saying he would try to match it by ordering additional carpet to cover what we needed. For over $2000 up front I wouldn't want to just match carpet. We asked for a quote on a different carpet and neither him nor the sales associate were willing to go with us for us to show them which carpet we were talking about. The manager walked away and told the sales associate he would call his guy in the morning, not knowing what carpet we were talking about. It was obvious our business wasn't welcome at this store. After running a business for over 16 years I know how important customer service is. This manager hasn't learned that yet. His treatment towards us is a great way to run this business in the ground. Although the quality of the furniture is OK, the customer service is extremely poor. They make promises they can't keep, they don't return phone calls, they don't follow up on orders, don't deliver when promised...I expected so much more from a small town business. I actually have 2 properties in the area that need new flooring in the entire house, looked at their flooring but after my furniture experience there is no way I would consider having them install 2 houses with laminate and carpet.
