Driving through town and seen this store. It immediately catches your eye if your headed north. I was immediately greeted as I walked up. I noticed a beautiful 5 foot cross in the corner. Ask for the price, and proceeded to walk around the establishment. Another worker just looked at my wife and I as we walked in. She became our shadow as we looked at various rustic furniture. Didn't say word to us. Her body language gave off a very unwelcomed feeling. It was then I realized we were being profiled. Wich I couldn't understand because I didn't have my pants hanging around my knees, no piercings, or visible tattoos. It had to be the color of our skin. So I followed her. She was standing around by the front desk blocked by a partician of a sort. Over heard her, and her friend. "You got two in the back there." "I know I've been watching them," she said. My wife was interested in throwing some money on some items but I told her no. As we walked out I told my wife , "most of this sh"#@$ is made in Mexico." Insuring they heard me on the way to my vehicle. It's really pathetic that this type of attitude, and reality is still present today. If only they knew what I sacrificed for my country.

They have western style furniture, clothes, purses and 'home style' canned goods, Mexican style ceramic figures and planters and metal sculptures. The furniture seemed to be good quality and very pretty. The clothes and purses were very pretty and ran from $20 to the hundreds for some of the purses, but they were great quality. There were some unique ceramics, and also the lizards, turtle and birds that are everywhere in Texas. They had several of the home canned goods that sounded wonderful. They were in the 3 to 8 dollar range. The had jams, pickles and hot sauce. The lady behind the counter was friendly and helpful. There are public restrooms, but we did not...
