I recently had an experience with this company that was far from above and beyond. Their listings were not accurate, changed prices on me without any posted information in the listing and overall the most condescending and rude communication.

Airbnb listing stated pets were allowed, their contract they sent me after I booked the Airbnb stated pets were strictly not allowed at this property.

"presented with a crystal-clear pre-booking message before even thinking about hitting “confirm.” He had to read it, acknowledge it, and agree to it.." This is correct, but they fail to mention there was no way to review the contract prior to booking. Once you book, they send you another contract with different rules than the Airbnb posting. This is the actual problem here.

After all their deception and bait and switch, I decided to cancel. They needed to cancel as the refund was not going to be 100% but they refused. I assume their plan was to get me to call support and request the cancel so it shows I canceled rather than them in order to not impact their ratings.

They are making the claim I had no intention of following the rules. Again, the Airbnb posting stated I could have my dog with but their contract said no pets. Yes, they did approve my dog, but they didn't update the contract. This put a lot of question into their integrity and legitimacy.

I have also seen their postings on sites that are not actually listings rather I assume their goal is to get you to click on it and see the other properties they have available. Just another shady business practice.

They are correct, I never stayed at their property and it could be a lovely experience but dealing with the host is part of the experience and it was miserable....

We had a different management company for 9 months that we paid a ton of money to that were not fixing things, non responsive to my call or texts and down right worthless. We fired them and were hesitant to continue renting out our cabin because of what we had gone through. Then we got a referral from our friend up north to try Chad at above and beyond homes. Well, I can not begin to tell you the night and day difference from our previous company. Chad and Michelle have gone out of their way to get things running smoothly, taking care of anything we ask of them since we are 2 hours away and the communication has exceeded my expectations! They respond so quickly , have an answer for everything and have been nothing short of amazing to work with. I highly recommend them as a management company if you are thinking about anyone managing your property. You will be so grateful for Chads expertise and knowledge in the business. 5 out...

I'm so glad I found Chad and Above & Beyond Homes because his site made the process quick and simple, and the price that was listed was the price we paid - I've booked through AirBnB or VRBO before but the approval process and the hidden fees are such a turnoff. Our rental was clean and exactly what we were expecting based on the pictures. (Even better at sunset) We had a couple questions for the property owners and they answered them all within a day and even gave us recommendations on fun things to do in the area! I love that we were able to support a local business instead of AirBnB or VRBO and just like their name implies, they truly go ABOVE & BEYOND for their clients!
