A Time 4 Paws Animal Adoption Center — Local services in Crossville

FYI, this is an adoption business, NOT an animal rescue business. That is very clear.

I've been rescuing animals for 10 years here on the plateau & I've contacted Time 4 Paws at least that many times over the span, & I've yet to see them accept a single dog or cat.... Not one.

They have given every reason (or excuse depending on your perspective) from "we're building a new place", to Covid, to "we have a shortage of staff" to "Karens in another country", & " We don't take strays" & the latest one was "we only take high risk animals".

These are animals that have been fixed, had shots etc & have no home. Still don't apparently ever qualify. Not one single animal out of close to 100 that have passed through my care. So I'd love to know where these animals they adopt out (over $100 for one) come from?

Im sure they have done good things somewhere along the way, but I have serious reservations about a place that operates under 501(c)3, gets SO MUCH donated, has Full Time THIFT STORE & more but can't seem to take even a single animal in 10 years that I've tried to get a home! Not a single dog or cat.

Ill leave my speculation & criticism out of it, but...

Took my dog to the neuter clinic. It was cheaper than my full service vet. He was sent home with no pain medication. I was told he had meds before during and after surgery and he didn’t need any, even when I asked for them. Pain meds were on the estimate from the full service vet. The E collar we received was dirty and appeared to have been used. There was dog hair in it. My dog was uncomfortable but did ok. And no one ever called to follow up with how he was doing. Amazing work is done here it would be extremely helpful if old towels sheets microfiber blankets were donated ALONG WITH GOOD QUALITY DOG/CAT FOOD for their food pantry for pet parents hit with emergencies and UNABLE TO FED THEIR furry family members I personally have had to use dog food pantry for my dogs it was a HUGE RELIEF TO KNOW THEY were going to eat I DIDNT care if I did just them a time 4 paws is also opening a spay/neuter clinic this yr so they need our help they are a giant asset to...
