Bunkers Grill and Patio Bar — Restaurant in Crossville

Recently retired and new to the area. I am spending time with family. Pass by the restaurant often and it is usually closed. Stopped in tonight after bowling and found a cozy place on the patio. We have been sitting peacefully on the back patio for aprox an hour when a man with a 2x4 approaches my husband and stepson accusing us of harassing the waitstaff. We try to explain there is a big misunderstanding we have been sitting peacefully since arriving. The owner of the bar, Summer Brooke Christian, hurls profanities, insults, injury threats and that is when suddenly after desperate attempts to make peace and defend ourselves her male staff member swings the 2x4 plank of wood he had in hand at my head, misses, and then chokes my husbands neck with his hand. We are leaving our seats heading for the exit when another male staff took my husbands hat and squirted a condiment from the table on his hat and took a lighter from his pocket and attempted to light it on fire. I have never been in a situation like this in my life. When I spoke up against the assault the woman, Summer Brooke Christian, grabbed my neck with her nails breaking my skin bringing blood and punched me in the head. During our recent trip through the area, we decided to stop by Bunkers Grill and Patio bar, and our experience turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag.

The food was decent overall, but we found it to be overly greasy. My husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, while I was excited to try the Cuban. Unfortunately, I received a Reuben instead, which required me to have my order remade.

Additionally, the atmosphere felt more like a bar than a restaurant, which wasn't what we were looking for during our visit. The service was also lacking; it felt almost non-existent unless we actively flagged down the staff for assistance. First time stopping in, ordered the shrimp Alfredo, was highly disappointed with the meal, first off this shrimp Alfredo with a glass of tea will set you back $21 dollars, the meal didn't even come with garlic bread to say the least, when I got the meal it was in a soup bowl ( no big deal) the noodles were swimming in a thick very salty sauce, and I mean it was like soup, i took a few bites and couldn't eat no more, it was enough for me, I pushed it aside got up and as I was paying for my meal I informed my server of my disappointment (Which didn't seem to faze her to much, it was a halfhearted apology) needless to say I wasted $21 on a meal that was very disappointing, I honestly will not be back there again, will take my...
