I've been going to Pamela Simpson, the massage therapist at Town and Country Salon in Crossville, for almost a year now. I started seeing her for my neck pain. Before that, I had been taking herbs and supplements, visited a chiropractor, and worked with a fitness trainer. All of them helped some, but adding massage therapy to the regimen made a significant difference. I am pain-free most of the time. Even though the pain occasionally comes back, it doesn't last long.
Over the past decade, I've visited many massage therapists in different states, including Alabama. I can say without a doubt that Pam is the most detail-oriented. I've had deep tissue massages for weeks and didn't enjoy them. I never had luxury massages like the “Hawaiian hot stone massage” and am not inclined to try that. Pam is neither a deep tissue therapist nor a feel-good therapist; she is right in the middle.
